The official registration stage for the Fin5 orienteering week in Posio and Kuusamo ended on 31st of May, 2021. The number of entrants hurt to close to 2,000, of whom there are currently 1,689 registered in the competition series and 200 in the open series. Entries will still be accepted, as post-registration for the competition series ends on 23.6.

In open series, official registration ends only on June 23 and post-registration on July 9.

Due to the corona situation, it will not be possible to register for open series on the spot this year, and there will be no Muksula services or a washing place at the venue.

The goal of the competition organizers for the number of participants was between 1500-2500, so you can already be satisfied with the number of participants.

– I am particularly pleased with the large number of participants in the elite series. There are 56 participants in the men’s main series and 38 in the women’s series.

Most orienteers are currently in the H55A series (67), H45A (64) and H65A (63). The largest number of participants is coming from Espoo Direction (67), SK Pohjantähti from Oulu (65) and Helsinki Orienters (57).
