Competition Day 2 – Kuoppavaara, Course Setters: Jarmo Pyhtinen and Sanna Soudunsaari (children)

The second race, which runs in Kuoppavaara, contains more rocky and canvas terrain than on Sunday. Also the the hills are more gently sloping.

There is an open pine forest, which is crossed by bogs. It is important to distinguish the essential from the map.

Route selection are provided. Water areas may appear larger due to rainfall.

Children’s courses once again rely on trail bottoms and snowmobile trails. It is important taking the time to orient the map.

The terrain is also crossed in the vicinity of the competition center by a forbidden road leading to the competition center, which is only allowed to be crossed at marked crossing points.

In all series, the control points are placed in the vicinity of the road crossing point. In RR-series there is control point, which is same with other series. There is RR code and numerical code. It does not matter which stamp you use to get the result.
